So, I went over my options with the endocrinologist this week for treatment of Grave's Disease and I'm going to go with the radioactive iodine to kill the thyroid off. The antithyroid medication would be too risky to any future pregnancy, and surgical removal always carries risks. I'm going to be radioactive for SEVEN days after the procedure! I'm not supposed to be anywhere near babies or small children, in addition to a whole host of other precautions to follow. No appointment set yet, but it should all go down the week of the 13 of April. Until then, I will enjoy being free of radioactivity.

We have two dogs, but this one is my dog through and through. And to think, when we went to pick out a dog, I wanted her fat little brother (actually, I wanted them both, but meanie Mikey made me pick just one.) What would I do without my Hattie?

This was ALL over my yard. It looked like snow! Totally nuts I tell you! I did not get any pictures of the big stuff bc I did not want my camera to get wet! The kids loved it! It was fun teaching them about hail. Kate asked if it was going to hail today. Its raining today and we have not called an inspector for our roof yet. I am sure there is a MAD rush for it.
