7/365 Becca or Cori

See this handsome guy? He has picked up ALL the slack around here while I have been sick.

I feel like such a worthless Wife, Mom and friend right now. The drugs have me pretty looped up most of the time. I have been asleep more today then awake. I am tired of this. Its this handsome guy that is making it bearable. I don't know what kind of situation I would be in right now if it was not for him.

We had a gorgeous sky tonight, the colors were amazing!

Inspired by the last post, this is my desk. This is where my butt is planted for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. As you can see I've got the typical Librarian/Archivist cardigan sweater because we have to keep it fairly chilly there. I also have my ever present box of tissues. These are the two most important tools of my trade. ;) Oh yeah, and the kick-ass $1500 scanner on the desk. I have to share that I finished a HUGE project this week that has lasted for the past 6 months. I essentially built an Access database with all public information about every sister we've ever had. Now, if that doesn't sound like a lot, keep in mind that the Congregation started in 1869. It is now fully functional. Yipee!!! What's even cooler is I get to go to Mexico City in 3 weeks to teach the archivist there how to use aforementioned database. I LOVE my job.

This is the view from my little corner of the world. Fascinating, isn't it?  I love being stuck in the drive all day at work.  *sigh*

Apparently, when one turns 26 they are "officially" old. For my birthday last week, my mom bought me a sewing basket fully loaded with yarn, scissors, crochet hooks, and a pattern book. She said "you're going to learn how to crochet!" And so I did...and I am loving it. Maybe I can get my husband to take a picture of me in my slippers crocheting on the couch?

All I need now is one of these and I'm golden.

I really am the epitome of hotness in your twenties.

Pesto goat cheese bruschetta, charbroiled beef tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, spring salad with citrus vinaigrette, & caramelized banana cheesecake with a macaroon crust & mango drizzle.
I got to go to one of my favorite restaurants today for lunch.
I sincerely love co-worker birthday outings.

My sweet girls playing Frisbee in Graham's room. Bella and Scout are nearly eight years old but still play together like puppies.

Oh yes, I am a minivan mom now.
