A couple of our friends left us for Alabama exactly seven months ago...  Clint and I have not quite gotten over it yet.  At least we still have some great pictures.  M & M always had the best Halloween costumes.

I have been a major slacker. Oops.
This was this afternoon in our backyard.
Cameron, my *almost* four year old.

I told her she should find something to do that kept her out of trouble...

Guess this is about as good an idea as any!

Running a little late these days. Feeling like the new year just started for me bc I am feeling better now!

Guess who earned her Wall-E game for her leapster?
This is our new weekly thing. Since she really does not get the concept of money yet, things she picks out will be her allowance. This week she is working for playdough :)

I am REALLY proud of her.. better yet she is really proud of herself!

For dinner last night I made a quiche, and of course pastry dough was needed. I realized I had none in the freezer left over from double batches of Thanksgiving pies. After conjuring up some dough I broke out the pastry board and french rolling pin my grandfather made for my grandmother, which I "inherited" after she passed away last September. My grandmother was an old world European pastry chef and spent half of her life on this pastry board.

It will be hard not to think of her every time I use it. I don't think I would trade this inheritance for a million dollars.
