My hubby is Vietnamese. In most, if not all asian cultures, it is customary to leave your shoes at the door. I don't do this, and I don't mind it so long is it is only one, maybe two pairs. Every week I walk past my entry way and see what seems to be something quite similar to the men's shoe department at Nordstrom. Today, there are TWELVE pairs sitting there. Sheesh. Time for me to relocate the kicks.

I have been waiting for the day when Cameron's creativity would take flight. It seems the day is finally here. Most kids his age have been drawing things like this for a while but not my boy. He thoroughly impressed me today with his interpretation of our family. Gotta love the angry eyebrows on all of us, lol.

Let me just say, I seriously apologize for my lack in posting. I know I say this every time I log in (which is few and far between) but I mean it this time... I am finally getting a handle on school, family, and free time so hopefully I won't be so absent from pixel chicks!



That being said, I haven't had a lot of oppurtunity to pick up my camera, but I did snap a few cute ones of my super-special princess. Enjoy!

My first baby, Sammy, AKA "pain in the ass." My husband despises him. Sammy really only shows me love...no one else. He will be 8 this year.

And yes, he totally looks like a rodent in this photo but I still love him!

Today I FINALLY took down all of the ornaments on the tree. Now if I can get my husband to put the tree away sometime in the next few days, I will be a happy woman.

Apparently, when one turns 26 they are "officially" old. For my birthday last week, my mom bought me a sewing basket fully loaded with yarn, scissors, crochet hooks, and a pattern book. She said "you're going to learn how to crochet!" And so I did...and I am loving it. Maybe I can get my husband to take a picture of me in my slippers crocheting on the couch?

All I need now is one of these and I'm golden.

Cameron asked me to take a picture of his football he pumped up all on his own. Exciting stuff, I know...
