Angel

Today I had an appointment to get a CT scan done in order to look at my sinuses. I've been having trouble with my allergies since my son was born 8 years ago and have just gotten around to getting it looked at. After hours of studying what normal sinus CT scans look like and severe Sinusitis CT scans look like, it looks like I belong in the latter category. Suck! I haven't shared these with my doctor yet (I should see him next week) but I just know he's going to suggest surgery. Add this to my recent diagnosis of LPR (a sort of acid reflux) and I feel like I'm falling apart. The addition of 4 new medicines to my regimen doesn't bother me too much but not being able to eat my most favorite foods just chaps me. How does one live without caffeine? I beg of someone to tell me!

Btw, obviously I didn't take above picture.

Oh no! Surgery?! On your face?!! I'd be shakin' in my boots if I were you. I was diagnosed with acid reflux about a year ago, so I know your annoyance with that one. I wonder if my medicine would help you, so you wouldn't have to cut out so many favorites from your diet?

I'm already taking Nexium in the morning and Zantac 150mg at night. I have to do that and limit my diet. Apparently, it's pretty bad. So much so that they've already warned me about Barret's Syndrome and the possibility of cancer of the esophagus. Yay!
